Matthaei Botanical Gardens- Ann Arbor, MI I had a great time with Aubrey and Cara on our nature walk. The lavender garden may be my favorite. The Christmas wreaths were a great holiday treat too! These two beauties are so sweet! I hope they get lots of goodies this Christmas!
This family is so darn awesome! I had a hard time choosing what to blog. The session was photographed downtown Grand Rapids, right before the rain hit. It was so much fun! We talked about Elmo, Sponge Bob, boyfriends, missing teeth, teething (Poor Stella!), and just had fun!
Maybury Park, Michigan
Well, this kiddie session celebrated both Gracie and Graham turning one year older! It was a great hike at Maybury-with a side of bugs! I think we all were troopers this day! It was worth all the skeeter bites. One of my favorite images from this shoot is actually the one with Gracie's skinned knees. She accidentally tripped over a branch on our hike. Her mom was right there to offer comfort and nurturing. It is a true image of love. This documentation portrays the reassurance family gives us to get back up and continue on when we stumble. Yes, I felt a bit like the paparazzi shooting this image, but I had to do it. Maybe Gracie will thank me someday for this photo with her mother...
