Congratulations Zac and Elyse! These two are hilarious. They keep me on my toes. The very first time I met them, I knew their sense of humor would bring some fun to their engagement and wedding photos.
These two actually met through Tinder. They were laughing together for two years before Zac proposed, on Maui. His brother lives there, and when they were visiting, he popped the question at sunset. What’s funny is that it had rained the whole trip EXCEPT for that time when Zac proposed. That’s a pretty clear sign, I’d say.
We had the amazing opportunity to go back to Zac’s playground from his childhood, and had this orchard all to ourselves for their engagement session. It was perfect. I bet when little Zac was playing outside in these trees, he had no idea that we’d be shooting his engagement session there decades later.
Sunshine, the friendliest dog ever, was a ham. The photos with the sign— oh my goodness! I had to include the funny ones. While the sign says “My humans are getting married”, his face just says “EGH!! Gross!,” “Gag me with a spoon,” “My humans are so embarrassing!” It’s funny to me.
I had such a great time with these goofs. I can’t wait for this March wedding! Please enjoy the preview:
